Managed Services
We take full ownership of your application post-launch — bug fixes, feature updates, performance monitoring, and infrastructure management on your stack.
Launching software is not the end of the work — it is the beginning of a different kind of work. Bugs surface in production that never appeared in testing. Dependencies need upgrading. Infrastructure needs scaling during traffic spikes and rightsizing when it does not. Security patches cannot wait. Most businesses do not need a full in-house engineering team to handle this — they need a reliable partner who owns the application the way an internal team would, without the overhead. We provide managed application and infrastructure services for systems built on our core stack: PHP applications (Laravel, Symfony, WordPress, Magento 2) and JavaScript applications (React, Next.js, Node.js). If we built it, we can manage it. If someone else built it on these frameworks, we can take it over.
What's Included
Technologies We Use
How We Work
- 1
Onboarding & audit — we review the codebase, infrastructure, deployment pipeline, and monitoring setup. We document what exists and identify any immediate risks before taking ownership.
- 2
Incident response setup — we configure uptime monitoring, error alerting, and on-call escalation paths so we know about problems before you do.
- 3
Ongoing retainer — bug fixes and minor feature work flow through a support ticket system with agreed response and resolution SLAs. Infrastructure changes are handled proactively.
- 4
Monthly review — we send a written health report each month covering incidents, changes made, upcoming dependency upgrades, and infrastructure cost review.
Common Questions
Can you manage an application that someone else built?
Yes. We take over third-party codebases regularly — Laravel, Symfony, WordPress, Magento 2, and Next.js applications. We start with a paid onboarding audit so we understand the system fully before committing to an SLA.
What does infrastructure management include?
Server provisioning and configuration, deployment pipeline maintenance, SSL certificate renewals, database backups and recovery testing, scaling responses during traffic spikes, and cost optimisation reviews. We work on AWS and DigitalOcean.
How are bug fixes scoped and billed?
Most managed service retainers include a fixed number of engineering hours per month for bug fixes and minor work. Larger feature requests beyond that scope are quoted separately. We keep it transparent — you always know what is covered.
Do you handle WordPress and Magento sites under managed services?
Yes. WordPress and Magento 2 are part of our core stack. Managed services for these platforms includes plugin/extension updates, core version upgrades, performance monitoring, and security hardening — not just hosting.
What is your typical response time for production incidents?
For critical production outages (site down, payment processing broken), we target acknowledgement within 1 hour and resolution within 4 hours during business hours. We agree SLA terms per client based on the criticality of their application.
