If This Sounds Familiar
The problems boutiques with staff run into every day.
We’ve always drawn our measurements.
Every system we looked at wanted us to type numbers into boxes.
The measurement book went missing.
Years of customer measurements in one notebook, no backup.
“Is my blouse ready?”
Customers call all day, and someone walks to the workroom to find out.
Nobody knows who has what.
Garments spread across tailors with no single view of what stage each is at.
Another delivery date slipped.
Because it lived in someone’s head, not in a system.
Boutica consolidates every aspect of running a boutique into one platform. Each order item moves through a configurable workflow — Cut, Stitch, Finish — mapped to a global pipeline dashboard that gives owners a real-time macro view of workload and bottlenecks. Customer measurements are stored as tagged profiles (Self, Child, Partner) with separate measurement sets per garment type (blouse, churidar, saree), so staff pull the right measurements directly into each order. Billing is GST-compliant with full and partial payment tracking. The mobile PWA lets tailors update work status from their phones without an app store install, and WhatsApp and email notifications keep customers informed at every stage.
Everything Inside Boutica
Draw measurements the way you always have
Tailors sketch the garment and mark the numbers on screen, exactly like the paper measurement book. The sketch is tagged to the right person and garment type, versioned, and backed up. Structured numeric fields are available too, for anyone who prefers them. Nothing about how you take measurements has to change.

Tagged measurement profiles
Measurement sets tagged by person — Self, Child, Partner — with separate sets per garment type. Pull the right measurements into any order in seconds, and never re-measure a regular customer again.

Automatic WhatsApp updates
Order confirmed. In progress. Ready for pickup. Delivered. Payment due. Customers get told automatically, in the app they already use — so they stop calling to ask, and your staff stop chasing.

Every garment tracked individually
Order three blouses, get three separately trackable items. No aggregation, no guesswork. Each moves through its own production stages, so you always know exactly where every garment is.

Pipeline dashboard
A Kanban view of every order item by workflow stage. See what's queued, in progress and ready — by team, by tailor, or across the whole boutique. Spot the bottleneck before it becomes a missed delivery date.

Assign work to tailors and teams
Role-based assignment across managers, tailors, packaging and delivery. Everyone knows what's theirs; you see workload per person at a glance.

Mobile app for the shop floor
Tailors update status from their phone with no app store download. Managers check assigned orders, delivery dates and progress from anywhere.

Customer-provided fabric tracking
Record when a customer brings their own material and how much, so there's never a dispute about what came in with the order.
GST-compliant billing
Generate invoices from orders, track full and partial payments, see pending amounts across the business.

Reports and exports
Sales by period, order completion status, pending payments. Export to PDF or Excel.

What's Inside
How It Works
- 1
Capture the order
Log a new order, assign it to a customer, and add each garment as its own line item with the stitching type and workflow it needs.
- 2
Draw or select measurements
Sketch the garment on screen as you always have, or pull an existing tagged profile for that person and garment type.
- 3
Assign to a tailor
Route each item to a tailor or team based on workload, visible directly on the pipeline dashboard.
- 4
Track through the pipeline
Tailors update status from the mobile PWA as items move through Cut, Stitch, and Finish. Owners see the live pipeline view at any time.
- 5
Bill and notify
Generate the GST-compliant invoice, record full or partial payment, and the customer gets a WhatsApp or email update automatically.
Built With A Real Boutique
Mahesh Designer's Tiruppur
A bridal wear and custom stitching studio that ran entirely on physical notebooks — order status, bills, and whose dress was whose all lived in someone's memory. Boutica replaced the notebooks with staff work logs, WhatsApp order updates, and material reference photos on every order.

Common Questions
Do we have to change how we take measurements?
No. Tailors draw on screen exactly as they do on paper — Boutica just makes sure the drawing is tagged to the right person, versioned, and never lost. Structured numeric fields are optional.
What happens to our existing paper measurement records?
You keep them. There's no requirement to re-enter old records on day one — new orders start on Boutica, and past measurement books stay exactly as they are as a backup reference until you've re-drawn a customer's profile during a future visit.
Do tailors need training to use it?
Minimal. The drawing canvas mirrors what tailors already do on paper, so the learning curve is mostly about where things are on screen, not a new skill. Most tailors are comfortable within a day or two.
Does it work on low-end Android phones?
Yes. The mobile app is built to run on the kind of Android devices already common on a shop floor — no high-end hardware required, and no app store install needed.
What if the internet drops in the shop?
Work in progress on a device isn't lost — updates sync as soon as connectivity returns. For shops with frequent outages, self-hosted deployment keeps everything on local infrastructure.
Can we run it on our own server?
Yes. Boutica is available both as SaaS and self-hosted, so boutiques that want full control over their data and infrastructure can run it on their own servers.
How long does setup time take?
Most boutiques are live within one to two weeks, depending on how much historical data you want migrated and how many staff need onboarding. Onboarding includes data migration and staff training.
